What this site is for
This website is my notebook where I think in public about intelligent automation and its impact.
As an automation developer, I can suddenly automate a radically wider range of work than before. Coming from the tedious trenches of defining an expert system one rule at a time, this feels like the start of something big to me. A symptom of an approaching singularity, perhaps? And I believe arriving well is as much a question of competent social governance as of technology leadership.
The site itself is an experiment: researched, designed, and built hand in hand with Claude, an AI that already works based on data from years of my own notes and decisions.
